Journey into the Alopexian universe

Welcome to Alopexian Philosophy, where imagination takes flight. Delve into my background, discover the inspirations behind my creative universe, and explore a world where astronomy meets mystery, and art breathes life into words. This page is a window into my passion, my journey, and the alternative realities I love to create. Let's explore together.

The spark of semiretirement

My passion for astronomy and crafting intricate mysteries truly blossomed in semiretirement. This newfound freedom provided the time to dive deep into the cosmos, fueling my curiosity about the universe, and translate that wonder into compelling narratives. The endless expanse above and the thrill of a good puzzle became my twin muses, keeping my creativity vibrant and ever-evolving.

Escape into alternative universes

What excites me most, and what I hope you'll discover, is the profound magic of an alternative universe as an escape. My 21 mysteries, complemented by relevant artel pictures, are crafted to transport you beyond the everyday, offering a sanctuary of intrigue and wonder. It's about finding freedom and adventure in worlds both familiar and fantastically new, where every star holds a story and every shadow a secret.

My Alopexian philosophy

Alopexian Philosophy isn't just about stories; it's a worldview. It's the belief that creativity, fueled by curiosity for the unknown and the desire to explore new dimensions, can offer profound understanding and exhilarating escape. Through my mysteries, art, and astronomical interests, I invite you to embrace this philosophy – to question, to imagine, and to find your own hidden paths within the grand tapestry of existence.

“His stories are more than just mysteries; they are journeys into unexpected worlds, filled with cosmic wonder and compelling characters. A true escape for the mind!”

About ME

Unfortunately, Tripod shut down the website before I had chance to transfer it, so it's under construction.

My hometown is unfortunately worthless Wilkes-Barré. Its fortune and downfall was anthracite and manufacturing. Both were gone by the time I left for the third and last time in May 1994. I think I have one paternal cousin who still lives in the area in Nanticoke.  My parents were running a bar and store on West Church Street during my formative years, and I heard Polish in the enclave then. My father took over his father's business after his death, two months before I was born. It was a very stimulating environment and plenty of exposure to diseases such a the measles in June 1962. We were going to move out in a few years, as Acme showed up to put the store out of business, and my father began his own bar on the San Souci Highway.  cntd

Senior Class Trip to Tammiment on Friday, 17 January 1975

We were the first class of Bishop Hoban High School in Wilkes-Barré to go through the entire four years. Note: John Wilkes and Isaac Barré were two members of Parliament who sided with the colonists in their dispute with Great Britain.  It is why the city has a hyphened name, similar to Winston-Salem NC.

The guys played cards while I snapped pictures, and I recorded their voices. The tape no long exists!

A photographer interrupted our lunch with pictures
to sell us souvenirs

What's a class trip to Tamiment without sledding?

This is a cute picture, although not serious!
Jim was a fun guy to have around!

As the photographer moves on,
we resume our lunch!

Oops! They need a push down the slope!

Apres-ski, we shared a table with the class presi-
dent. We had to dress for dinner.

May Beansy Monahan, Pete Stefaniak, and Mark Soniak rest in peace.I must go to the next reunion!
